Store Medical Images on the iPod

Okay, this is just plain cool! This allows medical professionals to use iPod's to view medical images. With the small screen, I hope it's large enough for medical use, but still has some serious potential. Let's just hope Apple doesn't decide to sue them over licensing.

Coming From Microsoft: 'Hosted Everything'

Well, it's official; Microsoft has decided to roll out their hosted infrastructure for their CRM and ERP products. Good thing RightNow Technologies adopted this model several years ago and are one of the few on demand CRM suites currently available. Should be interesting to see how this plays out in the next couple years.

The article notes, 'IT raises still lagged slightly behind the average of about 3.2% for all U.S. workers as reported by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. While the majority of respondents (69%) said their 2004 base salary increased from one year ago, 31% experienced either no change in salary or had their pay cut.'
