Looks like those fine folks over there are Google are at it again. This time, they are bringing us mobile GMail. Now sure, some are thinking, "I already have a Blackberry, why should I care?". Well, for me, I simply like the fact that it allows me to seperate my personal life from my business life. Yes, I have a Blackberry, but I still cart my personal mobile with me regardless. The last thing I want is to combine the two; then I would never be able to truly "get away".
Anyways, peep it on your phone. For those using LG on Verizon, I highly recommend changing your browsers homepage from that ridiculous Verizon one by doing the following:
Menu 0 (zero) - That should bring up a dialog asking for a service code Enter all 0's (zeroes) until the Service Menu appears Select Wap Setting Select Homepage Change this to be whatever you want, I recommend http://google.com/xhtml/ or now http://m.gmail.com On a sad note, I tried using https://m.gmail.com, but the certificate on that server doesn't match the domain so the phone automatically rejects it. Hopefully Google will get this fixed soon.
The mayor of a Brazilian town is trying to bring in a law making it illegal for residents to die. Mayor Roberto Pereira da Silva, of Biritiba-Mirim, came up with the idea because the town's only cemetery is full.
This is the most assinine thing I have heard in a while. So, if you die your relatives suffer; yup, that makes sense. What do you want to bet that this guy won't be re-elected?

Last night me and two of my homies decided to go bowling. We have found that Tuesday night is a good night to go, the league that plays is small and there usually aren't that many people there not in a league; It's very relaxing actually. Lately I have been bowling pretty consistently, and have been getting scores around that of my friends (140's, 150's). We have been talking about starting a team for for a long time now, but have never done anything about it. This week, I finally decided to get the ball rolling (no pun intended =).
While we were out there we met some of the guys that league bowl on Tuesdays; they are awesome! While refilling our drinks at the bar we met this guy named Randy who was doing coin and card tricks for the people sitting at the bar. After talking to him for a while, we went to bowl another game and he joined us. He also decided at that point, that he would buy drinks for everyone at the bowling alley who was bowling, for the rest of the night. Pretty crazy if you ask me. Anyways, I'm looking forward to next Tuesday because we are going to talk to the league director and see if we can't get signed up. Hopefully so, I'd love to bowl with those guys again!
I've been using Rhapsody from Real for quite some time now for work; It's great! I no longer have to drag CD's or my iPod with me to work, plus I have access to a lot more music. I still use my iPod occasionlly at work since there are songs that I want to hear that aren't on Rhapsody. Anyways, here is my morning playlist for today. Click on the title to listen to it, if you have Rhapsody of course.

I really enjoy this time of year. Not necessarily because of the holidays, but because it provides an opportunity to party in style. Most holiday parties involve cleaning up, dressing up and having a great time; this year has been no different. After the holiday party last Thursday, I was definitely in the mood for the company's holiday party which was last night.
This year it was held at the Gallatin Gateway Inn, same as last year. What a beautiful place, I always enjoy myself out there. For those who haven't had the pleasure of visiting the Inn, it's very old... and very haunted. Yes, haunted. I know, it sounds crazy, but whatever; it was even on the Discover Channel.
Anyways, not to get off topic, the party was great! Best company party I have been to, hands down. Not only was everyone looking their best, but I truly enjoy hanging out with some of the people I work with. Take a look at the pics and tell me we aren't having a good time ;)
